Meet The Very Special Ladies of PGA!

PGA National Members Club Community Outreach Committee

The support our Food Project has received from PGA National’s Members Club Community Outreach Committee (the COC) has made a major impact on what we are able to do for our constituents, the food insecure of Palm Beach County.
Over the past four years, the COC has collected many tens of thousands of pounds of food from their members and from the members’ neighbors. Under the leadership of COC members Claire Leinheardt and Robin Bernstein, they continue to collect and bring in large food donations at each of our bi-monthly food drives.  Furthermore, PGA National’s Members Club COC-led neighborhood collections also has brought in major monetary donations which has allowed us to buy much needed supplementing food staples for our partner pantries providing many tens of thousands of nutritious and well-balanced meals!
Along with the donations by their members and their members’ neighbors, PGA National Members Club Community Outreach Charitable Fund (the COCF) has given us monetary grants and allowed us to be a previous recipient of funds raised at their annual holiday party.
These special people at PGA National have now become an integral part of our Food Project’s efforts to feed the food insecure here in Palm Beach County. It is truly wonderful to see so many compassionate volunteers and we are immensely grateful for their on-going support!

PGA has now become an integral part of our project to provide food for the needy. It is truly wonderful to see so many compassionate volunteers and we are immensely grateful for their ongoing support!

THANK YOU, PGA NATIONAL MEMBERS CLUB COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE!

John Bauman & The Frenchmen’s Creek Friday Morning Discussion Group

John Bauman is the leader of an exceptional group in Frenchmen’s Creek called “The Frenchmen’s Creek Friday Morning Discussion Group” that supports worthy charitable causes in our area. When the group heard about our program in April 2021, John called a meeting and was able to solicit a very substantial financial gift to donate to the Food Project. This wonderful and caring group has come through again, four years in a row, with a very substantial contribution to our Food Project. With their continuing monetary donations, they have become our largest financial supporters
.
A BIG “THANK YOU” TO ALL THE WONDERFUL, CARING PEOPLE OF FRENCHMAN’S CREEK FRIDAY MORNING DISCUSSION GROUP!
United Methodist Church

Oceanview United Methodist Church

The United Methodist Church in Juno Beach has been a supporter of our project since Day One! Since the beginning, the staff and members of this church have supported us with active participation in our project, with food donations from their parishioners and then, in 2019, we received the biggest gift from Pastor Emily McGee, when she offered us to host our North County Collection Days on church grounds with the use of their common facilities. There is no way that our project could have grown as much as it has and we are grateful for this important milestone

WE THANK THE LEADERSHIP OF THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AND ESPECIALLY PASTOR EMILY FOR THEIR ALL-OUT AND ONGOING SUPPORT!
